FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I book a session?

It's easy! Fill out my interest form and tell me about what you're looking for. I'll get back to you to discuss your vision and answer any questions. Once we've confirmed the details, you'll sign an agreement and pay a booking fee to reserve your date.
What's your payment policy?

A 50% booking fee is required to reserve your date. This holds your spot on my calendar and covers pre-session planning. The remaining 50% is due at the time of your session.

Booking fees are non-refundable, but if you need to reschedule, I'm happy to work with you based on availability and your fee will transfer to the new date.
What happens if it rains on my session day?

Living in the Pacific Northwest means embracing our beautiful, moody weather! Overcast skies and light rain often create the most stunning, dramatic portraits. Many clients end up loving those conditions.
I keep a close eye on forecasts and may suggest switching to a location with better conditions or covered/indoor alternatives depending on your package and preferences.
Before the session: If there's light drizzle in the forecast and you'd prefer to reschedule, just let me know by 6 pm the night before. Your booking fee will transfer to a new date based on availability.
During the session: Once we've started shooting, we'll work with whatever weather we have. If conditions become unsafe, I'll pause and reschedule the remainder at no additional charge.

Severe weather: For severe weather (thunderstorms, heavy rain, wildfires, snow, ice), I'll reach out to reschedule. Client safety and equipment protection are my priority.
Can you help us choose a location?

Absolutely! I've been shooting all over the Pacific Northwest for years, and I have a long list of favorite spots—scenic parks and beaches, urban locations with great character, waterfront areas, mountain backdrops.

But here's what really matters: I'm skilled at finding beautiful backdrops anywhere: textured brick walls, interesting architecture, unexpected light. Just tell me what vibe you're going for, and I'll suggest locations that fit your vision.
